As you probably have already noticed, CUSID.ca has undergone some renovations. Everything from the previous version of the site is still here, but the site now has more to offer! Read on for more information about the changes.
CUSID was one of the first debating organizations in the world to have an online presence. Continuing in the tradition of being on the cutting edge of technology, we are proud to present the latest version of CUSID.ca.
Everything from the old site is here, but now there’s more. The first thing you will notice is the new look. The new site has been redesigned to be easier to read and browse through for screen resolutions of 800×600 or higher. The look and feel of both CUSID.ca and CUSIDnet has now finally been merged, bringing everything together under one roof.
New sections have been added too. We have brought back Points of Information in a new format. The new POI will feature regular articles and announcements about all that is going on with debate in Canada from all regions. We hope that this will allow all debaters from across Canada, and even the world, to get a glimpse of what is happening in places they normally do not get to see.
In the newly expanded Documents & Resources section, you will find all the things from Administratavia, but now there will be guides to debate, training manuals, and in the future, tabs software and other resources for schools.
Finally, work on the Dino Switchboard is complete and the feature is now up and running. This directory will be the place to go to reach CUSID alumni, wherever they may be in the world. Are you a CUSID alumnist? Please contact us to get your information on the switchboard.
That’s not all. In the future, we plan on making the site billingual, adding more features, and making sure that CUSID’s presence on the web remains one of the best in the world. We hope you enjoy the changes. Feel free to e-mail the Executive Director if you have any comments or questions.
