This seminar will be the first of many CUSID seminars to be hosted this summer. Tune in every Tuesday at 6PM EST to learn more about debate and take part in a practice where you can directly apply your skills and meet debaters from across CUSID!
Our first seminar will be hosted by Ruth Silcoff on British Parliamentary strategy. It will cover fundamental debate concepts, as well as tips for success that would be helpful to debaters at all skill levels, including:
– Framing rounds
– Using prep time
– Coming up with arguments and prioritization

Two hours before the seminar (4PM EST), we’ll be posting the Zoom link for the seminar as well as a Google form (NOT the question form) to sign up to be slotted at the subsequent practice. Please fill in the form by 6PM EST for us to be able to put you in to debate/judge after the seminar!
